Wildlife
Here are some of the animals I spotted along the way! Click on a photo to enlarge or read more.

Mini Bear With a Gift
This little guy was not afraid of me and kept chewing on the flower.

Marmots Everywhere
These guys only come outside for a little bit of the year. They hibernate for a really long time. I saw a bunch of them at Grand Teton NP.

He Just Wanted a Hug
Kept the required distance away from this dude but others did not. He got spooked and jumped around in the water until he was ready to run out. He ran towards me for a bit and that one one of the scariest wildlife encounters ever. Just obey the rules and don't spook the animals.

Immature Elk
These guys were sticking their tongues out at each other. Childish!

No Chill Chillin in the Chill Water
Dude did not care that there were four birds on his back. He ended up waling across the river and started grazing after.

Yellowstone Grizzly Bear
He was about 300 yards away and I could barely spot him. Best photo I could get of him.

Capone's Elk Gang
Talked with a guy after taking this picture who was so happy to be where he was. I felt the same too! I believe his name was Capone and If you are reading this, hello and I did not forget about you. Hope your time at Yellowstone was fantastic!

Buffalo Bud
There were a bunch of buffalo in this spot. A ton of baby ones here too.

The Neighborhood Turkey
This turkey walks around our block all the time. Its crazy to actually see a bird this beautiful not far from the city.

Grand Canyon Squirrel
You can get close to them without them fleeing, but don't get too close because... they bite!

Brofist a Squirrel
He ended up biting him. Hopefully the guy doesn't get the Bubonic Plague.

Gotta Cool Off
This guy is lying down on a rock right next to a spraying water pipe. It is 110 degrees at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and he is living large. Just there to cool off.

Fat Chubby
My grandfather calls all squirrels "Chubby" and this guy definitely was a chubby Chubby.

Shocked That I Compare Them To Bears
At Philmont they call chipmunks "Mini Bears" so that is my term for them now.
